So the baseball games stunk. Both area
teams were pounded on the first day of the playoffs, and the
realization that baseball is almost over is settling into
view.
Without an NFL team,if both baseball teams strike out in the
first round of the playoffs, it's going to be a long fall
until hockey and basketball swing into action.
Now Shaq-less, the Lakers really don't seem like a title
contender, and the whole LA sports scene is discombobulated.
Not surprisingly, the feud is on between Shaq and Kobe after
Bryant told Eagle detectives that Shaq paid millions in hush
money to women - a charge Shaq laughed off.
Still, apparently Shaq wasn't too happy that his 'perfect'
teammate had to tarnish his name while dealing with his own
mistakes.
I don't know, sort of sounds like a cry-baby snitching to
me. Then again, I don't have the world on a platter, so I
wouldn't understand the stress that causes someone to put
their hands around the neck of a stranger during consensual
sex.
Regardless, it is good to have Lamar Odom back in Los
Angeles. Only, it's going to be pretty funny if this is the
year the Clippers finally dominate the Lakers.
Well, the only thing that could turn today around would be a
decision that the NFL is coming to LA. I'll cross my
fingers.
